GIVE IT UP FOR THE LITTLE MAN
"JETT Richard Sollis"
Here we have Jett at just 4 days old!!!
It all started at about 3am on Jan 10, 2000 Mindy had started her early stages of labor while Rick was nestling quietly asleep until 6am when his backrub services were requested by Mrs. Sollis. An hour later we discovered that her contractions were approx. 4 minutes apart. So it was time to head to the Hospital, of course before we could go Mrs. Sollis insisted on primping herself for the occasion. So at about 8:15 it was off to the Hospital.

After arriving at the hospital within 20 minutes we were admitted into a delivery room (it would have been sooner but we had Mrs. Brain for a Nurse who knew without a doubt that Mindy was not in labor - BONEHEAD - ) Once we were in the room it was not long before Mindy was in happy land after recieving the Epideral. (excuse the spelling, as you can see Huked on foniks did not wuk for me)

This is Captain Jett speaking, we will be ready for take off just as soon as I take my afternoon nap.
Well as time went on Mindy, being drugged up and all decided to take a nap for about 45 minutes which she thought was great, mainly because she was having contractions at the same time. At approx. 1:30pm the nurse began to have Mindy push, this process went on for several hours, well at about 2:30 Grandma Sharon arrived which was a huge surprise to us, we figured she would have arrived around 4 or 5pm. (It just goes to show, when you put Sharon in a sports car she thinks shes in the Daytona 500). 3:00 came and the Dr. had decided that it was time to have the baby so after 9 months of pregnancy and 12 hours of Labor Mindy had done it, At approx. 3:42pm on 01/10/00, weighing in at 7.12 lbs and 22 1/4 inches Jett Richard Sollis had entered the world.
